WWE announced on Friday morning that the company and Alberto Del Rio mutually agreed upon the terms of Del Rio’s release. WWE issued the following statement:
WWE and Jose Rodriguez (Alberto Del Rio) have mutually agreed upon the terms of his release as of today, September 9, 2016.
Del Rio will be holding a press conference in Mexico City, Mexico on Friday to discuss his future and it’s rumored that he will be signing with AAA.
