According to Pro Wrestling Sheet, Rich Brennan has been released from WWE as the company informed him that he was being released on Wednesday afternoon. As of this writing, there is no word on the reason for the release.
Brennan was signed by WWE in 2014, doing play-by-play for NXT and was eventually pushed to lead announcer on SmackDown. Brennan was then moved out of that position after Mauro Ranallo signed with the company.
