According to a report from Fightful Select, WWE laid off more staff over the last few months. These releases reportedly came, “in a couple of departments such as marketing, shop areas and other consumer product areas.”
Many of these releases had previously gone unreported. According to various released staff members, many of them were told by people in the company that there’s a good chance they could be brought back.
This joins the litany of releases from WWE in recent months, many of which have been attributed to “budget cuts.”
