WWE Royal Rumble News – Actual Attendance, Google Interest, Peacock Viewing

WWE announced that there were 44,310 fans in attendance at the 2022 WWE Royal Rumble pay-per-view event in St. Louis. According to a report from the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, the actual number was 39,417, with over 35,000 paid. The attendance marked the second-largest gate in the history of the show, behind the 2017 Royal Rumble event in San Antonio, TX. The 2022 WWE Royal Rumble also drew the largest merchandise sales in the history of the show.

Additionally, the 2022 WWE Royal Rumble was the most viewed live event on the Peacock streaming service. More people watched the Royal Rumble live than both nights of last year’s WrestleMania.

As far as Google searches are concerned, there were more than a million of them. That is the best for any WWE event since 2019.
