This year’s Royal Rumble surprises were not as closely guarded as they had been in previous years. Surprises in the past had been at various points kept on busses away from everyone else.
Fightful Select reports that several of the surprises were on hand for the women’s rehearsals on Saturday afternoon and everyone knew they would be taking part. Others were at the hotel the night before the event and visited with current talent.
The planning of this year’s matches was said to be more laid back than it has been in the past.
