Shaquille O’Neal will not appear on the Wrestlemania 28 card, despite Shaq’s claims at the weekend and in prior interviews. An article was published on the official WWE website today that reads: “Despite Shaquille O’Neal’s claim that he will compete at WrestleMania XXVIII in Miami, WWE officials have informed WWE.com that the 15-time NBA All-Star is not scheduled to appear on the card.”
Shaq was tentatively scheduled to face the Big Show at Wrestlemania 28, but those plans look to have been scrapped now. As seen this week on WWE programming, Big Show has entered a feud with Intercontinental champion Cody Rhodes.
