WWE Signee AJ Ferrari To Stand Trial On Sexual Battery Charges

The legal problems continue for WWE NIL signee AJ Ferrari. A new report has details on his latest court case.

For those who might be unaware, Ferrari was announced as part of the WWE NIL signings in December of 2021. At the time, he was a promising prospect as a standout amateur wrestler for Oklahoma State. Unfortunately, things began to unravel for Ferrari in the intervening months.

On July 5, 2002, a woman filed for an emergency protective order against Ferrari, alleging that he sexually assaulted her on July 2nd. The woman alleges that Ferrari performed unwanted sexual acts on her as he held her down in her bed in her home in Stillwater, OK. On July 14, thanks to an accumulation of issues, Oklahoma State University confirmed that Ferrari had left the wrestling team. A few weeks later on August 3rd, Ferrari was charged with felony sexual battery in Payne County District Court.

According to a report from OKC Fox, the judge in the case has found that there is probable cause and the case will move forward. A trial arraignment date has been set for December 6th, 2022.
