According to a report from Fightful, Friday night’s edition of WWE SmackDown ended earlier than it was supposed to. There was a big spot between Mustafa Ali and Lio Rush that did not air during the live broadcast. During the brawl between RAW, SmackDown and NXT, Rush went up to the top turnbuckle for a dive but he was caught by Ali. Ali then gave Rush a Spanish fly onto a bunch of wrestlers who were on the floor.
WWE SmackDown wound up going off the air at 9:58 PM EST. There were issues with the timing and cues which is why it didn’t end up airing.
