WWE Studios Files New Trademarks For ‘Gorgeous George’ & ‘Clear Water Pictures’

Source: Pwinsider.com

WWE Studios recently applied for the “Gorgeous George” trademark. This would seem to indicate that they are going ahead with their plans to make a movie based off George’s life and his Hall of Fame induction. WWE applied for the trademark using the description of “Entertainment services, namely, the production and distribution of motion pictures.” As we’ve previously reported, WWE owns the rights to lots of Gorgeous George footage and Josh Gad is currently scheduled to write the script for the film.

In other WWE trademark news, they applied for the name “Clear Water Pictures”. WWE applied for this trademark using the description of “the production and distribution of faith-based motion pictures and programs.” This is likely for a WWE Studios faith-based drama, The Resurrection Of Gavin Stone. WWE Hall of Famer Shawn Michaels has a role in the movie.
