WWE appears to be continuing the storyline between Roman Reigns and Edge following WrestleMania 37 (Night Two). When a fan pointed out to Adam Pearce that Edge was pinning Daniel Bryan while Reigns pinned him, Edge should be the Universal Champion. Pearce noted that it was an “interesting take.” WWE referee Charles Robinson then commented, defending his call. He said,
“Four shoulders were on the mat. Roman was on top of both and in charge. It’s my discretion and that’s the final call.”
Pearce then told Robinson that he wanted to meet him in his office this Friday.
