Months after Matt Riddle was released by WWE alongside several other stars due to budget cuts, CM Punk made his return to WWE last year at the Survivor Series pay-per-view event.
While speaking to Chris Van Vliet, Riddle was asked about a WWE return. He said,
“If CM Punk could come back, I could definitely come back. I have no ill will. I am thankful for the opportunity they gave me.”
