WWE is on the verge of signing a well-known free agent, Tama Tonga, as per reports from Dave Meltzer and Fightful Select.
Before his stint in New Japan Pro Wrestling, Tonga kickstarted his career in All Japan Pro Wrestling using the names King Tonga, Haku, and Meng.
He later became part of the Bullet Club in NJPW and held the IWGP Tag Team Titles seven times with Tanga Loa. He also clinched the Never Openweight Title four times during his time in NJPW.
Most recently, they faced off against Hikuleo and Phantasmo, with Jado as the referee.
