The first singles match between Trish Stratus and Becky Lynch took place at Saturday’s WWE Night of Champions 2023 pay-per-view event in Saudi Arabia.
Stratus won thanks to outside interference from Zoey Stark, who came from under the ring to attack Lynch.
While appearing on WWE’s ‘The Bump’ after the match, Stark was asked if this was always the plan. She said,
“What kinda question is that? Look, we’re just here to kick ass, and no better than Trish Stratus to do it.”
