She is currently signed to All Elite Wrestling (AEW) under the ring name Athena. She is best known for her time in WWE, where she worked under the name Ember Moon.

Reese previously wrestled on the independent circuit under the ring name Athena, working regularly for promotions such as Ring of Honor Wrestling (ROH), Shimmer Women Athletes, Women Superstars Uncensored, and Anarchy Championship Wrestling, for which she is a three-time ACW American Joshi Champion. Prior to her main roster debut, Moon worked in WWE’s developmental system, NXT, where she is a former NXT Women’s Champion. Moon is the first person to win both the NXT Women’s and NXT Women’s Tag Team Titles.

At ROH Final Battle 2022, Athena won the ROH World Women’s Championship by defeating Mercedes Martinez.
