Rikishi

Best known under the ring names Rikishi (which means sumo wrestler in Japanese) and Fatu with World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE), where he was a one-time Intercontinental Champion, two-time World Tag Team Champion, and one-time WWE Tag Team Champion. He was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame as part of the Class of 2015.

Fatu is a member of the Anoa’i family, which has had a presence in professional wrestling since the mid-twentieth century. He is the twin brother of Sam “Tonga Kid” Fatu and the older brother of the late Eddie “Umaga” Fatu.

Fatu’s uncles Sika Anoa’i and Afa Anoa’i wrestled as The Wild Samoans, while many of his cousins wrestled including Rodney “Yokozuna” Anoa’i, Samula “Samu” Anoa’i, Matt “Rosey” Anoa’i, Joe “Roman Reigns” Anoa’i, Afa “Manu” Anoa’i Jr., and Lloyd “L.A. Smooth” Anoa’i. His father Solofa Fatu Sr. died of COVID-19 on October 4, 2020.

Fatu and his wife Talisua Fuavai-Fatu have six children: Score Benz, Joshua Samuel, Jonathan Solofa, Jeremiah Peniata, Thavana Monalisa, and Joseph. Joshua Samuel and Jonathan Solofa currently wrestle for WWE as Jey Uso and Jimmy Uso, while Joseph currently wrestles for NXT 2.0 as Solo Sikoa.
