WWE NXT Results for May 7, 2024

  • Wes Lee defeated Josh Briggs by pinfall. Those two and Ivar brawled after the match to the delight of Oba Femi watching on the side.
  • Earlier today, Tyriek Igwe and Tyson Dupont got into a scuffle with No Quarter Catch Crew in the locker room. Also, Axiom and Nathan Frazer dissed The Good Brothers by not giving them a Too Sweet.
  • Shayna Baszler defeated Karmen Petrovic by submission.
  • Kelani Jordan and Fallon Henley got into it in the women’s locker room over Henley’s heel turn from last week.
  • Footage from the NXT Women’s Combine was shown and will be continued throughout this episode.
  • The referee for the next match is “unavailable” for reasons unknown. Instead, the referee will be Channing “Stacks” Lorenzo.
  • Tyson Dupont & Tyriek Igwe defeated No Quarter Catch Crew (Charlie Dempsey & Myles Borne) by pinfall.
  • Arianna Grace sucked up to Chelsea Green in the locker room, gushing over how nice it is to have her here. Gigi Dolin looked annoyed between the two of them and said “I can’t take this anymore! That’s it. I’m done.” before storming off.
  • Michin defeated Arianna Grace by pinfall.
  • Backstage, Thea Hail was speaking to Ridge Holland about all her recent frustrations. He said he hopes his daughter has half the passion of Hail when she grows up. The rest of Chase U came by to congratulate Hail on her victory last week over Jacy Jayne. Then, Lexis King interrupted to badmouth everyone until Duke Hudson convinced him to leave.
  • Trick Williams was the guest on Supernova Sessions. The relationship he has with Lash Legend was revealed in more detail, bu that discussion was cut off by Noam Dar striking Williams to lay him out and pose with the NXT Championship belt.
  • Fallon Henley defeated Kelani Jordan by pinfall.
  • Charlie Dempsey is willing to grant Tony D’Angelo a shot at the NXT Heritage Cup, but with the “catch clause”, he’s not revealing who will face him until next week.
  • In order of their ranking, the 12 women who have qualified from the combine to go after the NXT Women’s North American Championship are as follows: Sol Ruca, Thea Hail, Jaida Parker, Brinley Reece, Michin, Fallon Henley, Lash Legend, Ivy Nile, Izzi Dame, Kelani Jordan, Tatum Paxley and Wren Sinclair
  • Lexis King defeated Duke Hudson by pinfall.
  • In the parking lot, Meta-Four sans Lash Legend was approached by Je’Von Evans, who wasn’t a fan of what happened during Supernova Sessions.
  • Jazmyn Nyx passes on a message of well wishes to Jacy Jayne for her broken nose she suffered from her match against Thea Hail last week.
  • Backstage, Ridge Holland apologized and said he is going to earn the trust and respect of Chase University after his involvement in King v Hudson was an inadvertent distraction that cost Hudson the match.
  • Next week, Sol Ruca vs Izzi Dame, Ivy Nile against Lash Legend, Tony D in his Heritage Cup match, Je’Von Evans against Noam Dar
  • NXT Women’s Championship Match: Roxanne Perez (c) defeated Chelsea Green by pinfall to retain her title.
  • Ending the show was footage of The D’Angelo Family beating down Damon Kemp (and possibly Myles Borne; hard to see) and throwing him in the back of a car and driving off. Charlie Dempsey then walked into the parking lot, having not seen that, looking around.
