Here are the results for the episode of WWE RAW airing on April 29, 2024. You can find our Friday Night SmackDown results here.
Logan Paul (w/ Patrick Mahomes & IShowSpeed) and Judgment Day are in the house. Some compliments are exchanged before we go to Pat McAfee and Michael Cole at ringside. They hype tonight’s draft pick show. Becky Lynch kicks us off as the new WWE Women’s World Champion. She grabs a microphone and says this is where The Man was born. Nearly six years ago, she stood up on the steps with a bloodied face and let everyone know this is her show now. Here she stands as the new World Champion, still saying the same damn thing.
She is excited about a new division, and it has taken her nearly two years to get back to holding a world title. Let’s find a new #1 contender. Liv Morgan enters and tells Lynch that she is the new #1 contender. She feels like Becky owes her one. The only reason she is holding the title is because she took out Rhea Ripley. This is the Liv Morgan revenge tour, and they both know the endgame would always be her. She won’t stop until she has everything she wants. Lynch agrees she wouldn’t be holding the title without Ripley going out, but Morgan would be holding this if she could beat her.
Despite being drafted to SmackDown, Nia Jax makes her entrance and states she would be the champion right now, but they ensured she wouldn’t be. Luckily for them, she was drafted to SmackDown. This is her last night on RAW, and she is taking one of them with her. Liv accepts her challenge.
Next up, Stephanie McMahon is present to announce the next picks on night 2 of the 2024 draft.
Logan Paul & IShowSpeed announces the next draft picks. Before they get started, Samantha Irvin introduces Patrick Mahomes.
Logan Paul insults Jey Uso by saying he can’t become a champion on his own. Before he can give away the results of Backlash, Jey Uso shows up to confront him. He asks the crowd if they think he can become World Champion, and if he should beat the hell out of Logan Paul. Finn Balor and JD McDonagh are here to threaten Jey.
Logan runs his mouth while the Judgment Day beat up on Jey. Patrick Mahomes passes Logan some Super Bowl rings to punch Jey, but he misses and hits McDonagh instead. Paul gets a few shots on Jey before Braun Strowman returns! Logan gets out of dodge while Balor eats a chokeslam. Strowman thinks about getting into something with Mahomes, but Jey pulls him away.
Backstage, Chad Gable negotiated a tag team title match with R-Truth, which The Miz isn’t thrilled about. After The Awesome Truth move out of shot, Chad Gable is struck in the face by the boot of Sami Zayn.
Booker T is on hand to share his thoughts, but Drew McIntyre cuts him off for talking up CM Punk’s draft pick. He knows Booker doesn’t like Punk, and he leaves frustrated after saying he has changed.
Chad Gable gets a strong anklelock on Sami Zayn. Then, Bronson Reed squashes the champion with Tsunami. Gable holds up the IC title, and Reed doesn’t like that, so he throws him with a Death Valley Driver before holding up the title himself.
The APA are up next to announce the next round of draft picks.
Drew McIntyre airs his frustration over being drafted in round 3. He berates CM Punk for staying at home while he works through an elbow injury like a real man. Punk’s music interrupts, and the man lets him know he isn’t at home. He is right here in the VIP suite you “little b****”. Ron Simmons retorts with “DAMN!”
Drew McIntyre rushes to the VIP Suite to find CM Punk, only to find he isn’t there, because Punk has made his way to the ring. Punk says McIntyre is like an ex-girlfriend he can’t get rid of. He prayed for him to get injured, and he did that (the elbow injury) to him. Punk was drafted before him because he is the best in the ring, on the microphone, and on commentary. Losers hope things happen. Losers pray for things to happen. Winners make them happen. When he is 100%, he will make Drew’s life a living hell.
Alundra Blayze & Teddy Long are here to announce the next picks in the draft.
During the next match, Tiffany Stratton can be seen watching on from a seat behind the commentary table.
The Dudley Boyz return to announce some more draft picks, only this time they bring a table.
Adam Pearce and Nick Aldis announce their final picks for the draft.
