WWE Friday Night SmackDown Results (May 24, 2024)

It’s time for WWE FRIDAY NIGHT SMACKDOWN! Well, sort of. The May 24, 2024 episode is taking place live at the Jeddah Super Dome in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia and broadcast earlier than usual around the world—but will air on a taped delay at its usual time in the United States on Fox later tonight.

But since eWrestlingNews knows not everyone reading is in the states, we’re hoping to provide live coverage as much as possible for the show now, and to give you a space to chat it up in our usual watch party page.

If at all possible, this post will be updated regularly throughout the live taping with information on the results. In the event that is put on hold, information will be updated below as soon as it is available. Worst case scenario, we’ll have it up for the 8 p.m. ET broadcast.

Keep refreshing for updates and be sure to chat it up in the comments section as you watch along!

  • Queen of the Ring Semifinals: Nia Jax defeated Bianca Belair by pinfall.
  • Backstage after the commercial break, Candice LeRae and Indi Hartwell gloated to Bianca Belair about her loss until Jade Cargill came over to back her up and they decided to leave.
  • Carmelo Hayes was the guest on The Grayson Waller Effect, which almost immediately turned into LA Knight coming out and getting into a 3-on-1 fight. The Street Profits then joined the fray, helping Knight fight off Hayes, Waller and Austin Theory.
  • Six-Man Tag Team Match: LA Knight and The Street Profits defeated A-Town Down Under and Carmelo Hayes by pinfall. Montez Ford pinned Waller.
  • Cody Rhodes and Logan Paul had an in-ring promo segment. Paul reiterated that he promises not to use the brass knuckles tomorrow in their title match. Rhodes called him a scared kid, afraid that people will see him as a fraud cosplaying as a WWE Superstar. But Cody knows how good Logan is and he believes there’s another set of knuckles on him. Cody asks referee Ryan Tran to check him out, which turns out to reveal indeed another pair of brass knuckles in Paul’s pocket. The champ reiterated his passion for the WWE Championship and nothing much else happened.
  • Randy Orton spoke backstage about how he’s going to beat Tama Tonga. Then, Nia Jax had a quick stare down with Bayley, telling her to keep the title ready for her come SummerSlam.
  • Also backstage, DIY had a confrontation with The Street Profits, stating they’re going for the tag titles and they’ll go through Tez and Angelo Dawkins if they have to.
  • Bayley defeated Chelsea Green by pinfall. Immediately after the bell, Piper Niven went after Bayley.
  • AJ Styles spoke to Nick Aldis, asking for one more chance at a WWE Championship shot for whoever wins between Cody Rhodes and Logan Paul. Aldis said no. That chance needs to be earned. Styles argued that he doesn’t have time. Aldis said that’s not something he can help him with.
  • A vignette hyped Andrade. Legado del Fantasma then reacted negatively to it.
  • It was announced that Candice LeRae and Indi Hartwell will face Bianca Belair and Jade Cargill for the women’s tag titles during the Countdown pre-show for tomorrow’s King & Queen of the Ring event.
  • King of the Ring Semifinals: Randy Orton defeated Tama Tonga by pinfall. Kevin Owens made the save to help Orton fight off Tonga and Solo Sikoa after the match.
