We start with Michael Cole’s interview with Matt Riddle. Riddle says it is an honor to be a part of the SmackDown roster and he likes AJ more than AJ likes him. After he won the match, he celebrated with Otis, Daniel Bryan, Drew GUlak and The New Day, and he believes he can get used to this. Riddle is then asked why he competes in bare feet. Riddle says it’s a long story but when he was a child, his family took him on vacation to Wisconsin and it was winter time. There was an indoor pool, but then he played in the snow and one day he stayed outside too long, and his feet got frostbite. He almost had them amputated.
Luckily, he pulled through, but he never wears shoes because he still gets that same burning sensation, and it doesn’t matter where he is. He also learned that he can lose everything in a moment, but his feet allows him to feel things the rest of his body can’t. King Corbin comes out.
Corbin says Riddle should have just said he doesn’t wear shoes because he’s an idiot. He then says Cole embarassed himself this week by allowing Matt on television. Matt calls what he did to Corbin last week disrespectful and he should have been bowing down to the king. He tells all of us to bow down. Nobody wants Matt here and he’s going to make sure Riddle pays for every second he’s on SmackDown. Riddle tells Corbin to do him and Corbin asks what that means. He then says Riddle better be ready for a match at any moment, and someone needs to slap him around and put him in his place. Riddle is ready to fight, but Corbin says his opponent is John Morrison.

After a series of distractions, Riddle wins by rolling Morrison up.

After the match, Styles attacks Riddle from behind on the ramp before Gulak brawls with him.

Styles wins after getting the Styles Clash and a Phenomenal Forearm.

Bayley and Sasha Banks are out to talk about the week they had and Bayley says no one shows she and Sasha any respect for carrying all three shows. But Bayley says Undertaker respects Bayley and Sasha. Bayley says Undertaker called her after RAW last week and he said that he’s embarrassed at the tribute that was paid to him on SD last week, and that Bayley and Sasha are re-defining what it’s like to be champion. At Extreme Rules, he can’t wait for them to hold all the gold in WWE. Bayley says a tribute is due for her and Sasha tonight, and the tribute plays.
After the tribute, Sasha and Bayley cheer each other on before Alexa Bliss and Nikki Cross interrupt. Cross and Bliss compliment each other with stuff they wrote down on a piece of paper before Alexa says both of them sound ridiculous. Sasha says no one can touch them. Cross says she knows she can beat Bayley for the women’s title because she got here with all heart before the two laugh. Alexa knocks out Bayley. Sasha says Bayley won’t have a problem giving them an Extreme Rules preview right now.

On the outside, Cross attacks Sasha and attacks Bayley out of frustration for the disqualification.

We get a preview of Wyatt and Strowman’s swamp fight.
Kofi Kingston vs. Shinsuke Nakamura
Nakamura rakes Kofi’s eyes and hits the Kinsasha for the win.

It’s now time for Sheamus to toast Jeff Hardy. We’re in the ring with a bunch of alcoholic beverages and Jeff comes out. Sheamus joins him from on screen. He tells Jeff that the adrenaline rushes that he used to have is nothing more than quick fix and he tells Jeff that he has a problem. Not the drugs, alcohol and injuries, but his deeper problem of facing reality. Jeff has felt sorry for himself since his loss at Backlash, and he tried to get a quick pick me up after his defeat, but it’s sad, pathetic and it breaks Sheamus’ heart because we’ve seen it before. He’s lying to himself and he can’t bear to see that anymore.
Sheamus says the solution to Jeff’s problem is in one of those bottles. Sheamus toasts Jeff, and prays Jeff’s troubles away, even though his life is full of DUI’s and mugshots. Jeff asks if Sheamus thinks that what he goes through is funny, rubbing it in his face about his troubles. Sheamus says he’s not here to hurt Jeff, but to help hi. He’s just saying he doesn’t have to live a lie anymore. As a friend, all he wants to tell Jeff is bombs away. The bartender offers Jeff a drink and Sheaus asks him to take it. Follow his instincts. Jeff takes the drink and Sheamus celebrates. As he’s about to drink it, he instead pours it over his bartender and then smashes another bottle over him. Jeff then gives him a Swanton.
