TRENDING

Jumeirah in Dubai is always special place in its history as it was the place from where the breath taking development of Dubai kick started
and expats relocated to the city. The expats were enamoured by the beauty of
living close to the coast and beaches.

Though properties may look a tad old yet the benefits are manifold.
Jumeirah is fascinating because it is one of the few districts where all
facilities were available at walking distance including shopping facilities which
are friendly than in big malls.

Attractions

Jumeirah is splendid with old world charm. Among the attractions
are the classic wave-shaped Jumeirah
Beach Hotel and the nearby Madinat
Jumeirah looking like a traditional Arabian town. There are many heritage-inspired
souks and good restaurants along the man-made canal where the visitors can take
rides on the authentic-looking wooden abras.

Jumeirah is also home to the not so expensive 7 star Burj Al Arab offering eye catching views
of the nearby beaches.

Restaurants

For foodies, there is Bikers
Café in Jumeirah 1 known as the best breakfast hangout of Dubai VVIPs. The legendary
Limetree Café, on Beach Road is a
huge hit with all.

Beach
Park

To relax Jumeirah Beach Park is a great place and spend days
in a lazy way. The beach is lush, green and the landscaped park has excellent barbeque
delights.

Living
in Jumeirah

Despite curbs on foreigners buying property in Jumeirah
villas are hot in demand for renting. Here properties for rent are snapped up
quickly. Perhaps Jumeirah offers a relief from the high rises with its entirely
low-rise structures which are different compared to other parts of the city.
Jumeirah and the entire district has many hidden as well as not so hidden gems
in villas.

Growing
fast

Certainly Jumeirah is evolving like the rest of Dubai with its
newly opened Citywalk–a European-style low-rise shopping complex.

If you feel Jumeirah is saturated there is plenty to offer in
adjoining areas like  Umm Suqeim — the immediate neighbourhood
famous for its affordable and relaxed villas and chilled out beaches. For a moderate
budget there is the option of apartments on Sheikh Zayed Road.

Villas

The market of rental villa in Jumeirah Park is ever
growing. The rental
costs for a 4 -bedroom villa on the beach in Jumeirah 3 will cost you an
average AED 450,000 per annum. If it is in Umm Suqeim, even a 5 bedroom villa will
not be more than AED 195,000 per annum.
