— Mark Henry and Rey Mysterio are both currently set for a return at the 1,000th RAW. WWE has held off on the returns to give the show more impact. They are looking for anything they can to make the show more memorable. As noted earlier, Mysterio was backstage at RAW last night but wasn’t used.
— Dragon Gate USA has announced that Ricochet and Rich Swann will take on CIMA and A.R. Fox for the vacant Open The United Gate Tag Titles at the promotion’s Third Anniversary Show in Chicago on July 29th.
— Johnny Gargano will face Akira Tozawa with the Open The Freedom Gate Title on the line on July 28th in Detroit. Both shows will be available as iPPVs at WWELive.com.
