UPDATE x 3: Sean Waltman spoke with TMZ about his arrest for possession of narcotics and denied that he was carrying methamphetamines. You can see the video and highlights from the interview below:

On what he was carrying: “What they say was methamphetamine, was actually… I’ve had a yeast infection, believe it or not, for the better part of a year. I had some candida cleanse capsules, that I got from Vitamin World, and apparently the meth fairy came and turned them into crystal meth. That’s the story.”

On people who are skeptical of his explanation: “With my past, I can totally understand anybody rolling their eyes at my story. Once the lab work comes back, this should be all cleared up. But in the meantime, oh what a mess.”

On why he thinks the capsules were immediately considered a methamphetamine: “That was the only way they were going to get anyone to take me, otherwise they were going to have to let me go. And this one guy was not going to have that, it wasn’t going to happen. Now, whether or not they actually think that there was a meth like substance in there, or they were trying to stick it to me — who knows.”

UPDATE x 2: Here are the latest details on Sean Waltman’s previous warrant that was outstanding at the time he was arrested for possession of narcotics. Waltman was placed on probation last month in Pennsylvania over a February, 2016 case in which he was charged with possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, unlawful possession of a controlled substance by a person not registered under the act to possess it unless obtained with a valid prescription and violation of a “periods for requiring lighted lamps” law, which means that he was driving without headlights.

Waltman entered a guilty plea to possession of drug paraphernalia on March 6th in the case as part of a plea deal, with all the other charges dismissed. He was sentenced to a year of probation and had to agree to undergo a drug and alcohol evaluation, including enrolling in any recommended treatment. The case closed on March 31st and his Los Angeles arrest could be determined as a parole violation.

Waltman took to Twitter to say that he hasn’t relapsed and added:

We’ll have to wait for the lab results to come back on my yeast-cleanse capsules. In the meantime, I understand ppl’s reason for doubt. pic.twitter.com/Mh6Kr85iEX — Sean Waltman (@TheRealXPac) May 2, 2017

UPDATE: Here are the latest details on Sean Waltman’s weekend arrest. Waltman was charged with five counts of possession of narcotics, intended for sale, when he was arrested on April 29th in Los Angeles, CA at LAX.

The arrest report states that Waltman was arrested after a K-9 officer alerted officers to the presence of narcotics in his luggage, they then decided to investigate Waltman’s luggage because he was previously on a watch list with the United States Customs and Border Protection agency.

He was stopped on the Jetbridge as he was preparing to board his flight to England, where the K-9 officer checked his bags, and after taking him to a secondary screening area, a search of his bags revealed 15 meth/amphetamines pills, 23 meth/amphetamines pills, 2 THC liquid cigarettes, 56 THC capsules and 3 Cannabis Chocolate Bars.

Waltman told authorities that he was set to return to Los Angeles on May 1st; the officers made the determination that the amount of pills exceeded the “amount any person can consume” in that time period. It was then decided that the narcotics, plus the $736.10 Waltman was carrying were evidence of “narcotics sales.”

Once in custody, it was discovered that Waltman had an outstanding warrant for a previous DUI case. There was also an existing warrant in the State of Pennsylvania for Waltman, but the report did not specify what that warrant was in regard to.
