— FOX Sports says that according to a source close to the situation, Jerry Lawler is believed to have suffered a heart attack or (more likely) a stroke. The source noted that Lawler was able to get immediate treatment due to the medical personnel being at ringside.
— As noted earlier, Jerry Lawler had a long day of travel from Aruba to RAW in Montreal, though it isn’t know if that was a factor. One fan at ringside noted Lawler seemed as if he began snoring just before he collapsed and before that had spoken with an employee at ringisde. Lawler then grabbed his arm and turned blueish, which could be indicative of a heart attack, as he fell. EMTs and WWE medical personnel were immediately on the scene and administered medical assistance. Lawler was rushed backstage after being put on a stretcher and was taken to the hospital. The roster was very shaken up by the whole situation backstage with numerous people crying.
