WWE Hall of Famer “Stone Cold” Steve Austin recently appeared on ESPN’s Russillo and Kanell Show and discussed a variety of topics, including Brock Lesnar’s return to the UFC at UFC 200, Roman Reigns’ recent WWE Wellness Policy suspension and more.
Austin said Lesnar’s upcoming UFC 200 fight against Mark Hunt will be a “tough match-up”, but he’s hoping Lesnar can pull it out.
Regarding Roman Reigns’ WWE Wellness Policy suspension, he said he doesn’t know what substance Reigns tested positive for but said WWE was conducting drug testing prior to last Monday’s WWE RAW broadcast. He was there for his podcast with AJ Styles. Austin said, “So they’re strict about it.”
Austin also said he was hopeful that Reigns will bounce back from this issue stronger, saying, “He got popped, and that’s just the way it is. He owned it, and he’ll live to come back another day. He owned it, so I think the kid did the right thing. Sometimes these things happen.”
