As we previously reported here on eWn, AEW President Tony Khan once again riled up the wrestling community after making an appearance on the NFL Network on Friday.
During his appearance on the NFL Network, “TK” referred to WWE as “an evil juggernaut” and “the Harvey Weinstein of pro wrestling.”
According to a report from Fightful Select, executives from the NFL Network were happy with the AEW President’s appearance.
A source with the NFL Network says they wanted to have Khan appear on the broadcast, knowing it would garner attention after Khan’s appearance during the 2024 NFL Draft where he was rocking a neck brace to sell the assault by The Young Bucks from AEW Dynamite.
Tony Khan’s father, Shahid Khan, owns the Jacksonville Jaguars. Tony Khan works as the chief football strategy officer for the team.
