Regarding why the Nikki Bella versus Becky Lynch match was scrapped from this week’s SmackDown, the reason was that Bella had to miss the tapings on Tuesday in Tulsa, Oklahoma to be with her boyfriend, United States Champion John Cena, who underwent surgery for his broken nose.
Meanwhile, Lynch faced Bella’s sister Brie in a match that was taped for WWE Main Event.
As of now, Cena is still advertised for Saturday’s WWE live event in Ontario, California and Sunday’s show in Fresno, California but that remains to be seen.
