Original Plans For Roman Reigns And The WWE World Heavyweight Championship; Update On Rollins And More

Source: PW Insider Elite

As reported earlier, WWE officials and writers will be spending the next few days rewriting most of their future storyline plans, including WrestleMania 32 plans, as Seth Rollins was forced to vacate the WWE World Heavyweight Championship and will be out of action for 6-9 months.

The original plan was for Rollins to face Roman Reigns for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship at the Survivor Series pay-per-view on November 22nd and the WWE TLC: Tables, Ladders and Chairs pay-per-view on December 13th. We’re not sure exactly when the change would have occured however the plan was for Reigns to defeat Rollins for the title. The plan heading into WrestleMania 32 was for Reigns to be champion.

No word yet on how those plans for Reigns will factor into the Survivor Series tournament to crown a new WWE World Heavyweight Champion.

Rollins is scheduled to fly back home from Great Britain today or tomorrow and will be heading back home to Iowa. Surgery had not been scheduled as of last word but it is expected to take place soon.
