2.  Roman Reigns Is Next

On this week’s episode of SmackDown, the brand-new Universal Champion Goldberg opened the show inquiring “Who’s Next,” and ‘The Big Dog’ Roman Reigns answered the question. There is a majority of the internet community that absolutely hate this match, I didn’t like it either at first but now I’m all for it.

I’m obviously not thrilled that he defeated The Fiend Bray Wyatt but I know this is a blockbuster big money match that WWE couldn’t pass up. Goldberg needs someone to carry a long match for him and Reigns is the perfect opponent to do that. Plus how can you go wrong with Spear vs. Spear? In my opinion,

I think the powers to be knew that eventually, they were going to go this route but just didn’t know how they would get there. So why not let this happen at this year’s WrestleMania and get it out of the way and drop the Universal Championship off to the biggest star on Friday Night SmackDown? There will be some who bitch and moan but I’m excited about their collision.

1.The Match Six Years In The Making

It’s been six long years since John Cena completely killed Bray Wyatt’s momentum at WrestleMania 30. The buildup was simply amazing and the promos were terrific, and Wyatt was red-hot and then Cena beat him clean in the middle of the ring. From there the feud ended a few months later with Wyatt completely crushed. Wyatt wouldn’t make it to the main event title scene until 2017 where he held the WWE Championship for less than three months.

Let those facts sink in for a minute. Ever since Bray Wyatt revealed his Fiend persona as righting the wrongs of all of those who have hurt him, I knew John Cena would become a target–I just didn’t know when. Then, the sixteen-time World Champion returned on this week’s episode of SmackDown and was greeted by The Fiend.

I had goosebumps watching it unfold and it was brilliant storytelling. Sometimes less is more and in this case, it worked. Wyatt will finally get his comeuppance against Cena and it will be extremely fun to watch. Of course, it would have been sweeter for Wyatt to successfully defend the Universal Championship against him but defeating him clean will still be a justification of some sort. This is WWE though, so they could just bury him again but I’m trying to be very optimistic about this.
