Following their TV tapings in Georgia last week, AEW has put an indefinite pause on any additional filming. The talent are now off the road for an “indefinite period of time” due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
AEW reportedly has Dynamite taped for at least the next several weeks, if not months. The status of AEW Double or Nothing on May 23rd is still up in the air right now and the company is taking a “wait and see” approach. Even if AEW wanted to run the show in an empty arena, there may be no place to do it. Also, there would be some travel issues involved if they were to go that route.
