According to a report from the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, AEW head of production Keith Mitchell has been in talks with Mike Tenay. With that being said, Tenay has had offers from a lot of other companies lately and “hasn’t been quick to make any deals.”
Believe it not, WWE reportedly wanted Tenay to be the General Manager of 205 Live at one point. That is before they chose Drake Maverick for the GM role.
