Johnny Elite (John Morrison) is making his return to AEW on tonight’s episode of Dynamite, laying down an open challenge that Miro has been teased to answer.
The announcement of Johnny Elite’s return to AEW was made via Tony Khan’s Twitter account, where the AEW President wrote:
“After earning his first @AEW win last weekend #JohnnyElite returns to #AEWDynamite tonight aiming to work his way to the top! For AEW’s LA debut, hometown hero Johnny has signed an open contract to fight anyone in @AEW! Who will he face on Dynamite on TBS @ 8pm ET/7pm CT tonight?”
Following this announcement, CJ Perry (Lana) the wife of AEW wrestler Miro would write on her Twitter account that she, “Suddenly want[s] to go see #AEW tonight from some reason.”
Miro’s last appearance in the company was at last November’s Full Gear pay-per-view event. In the time since, Miro has both been recuperating from an injury, as well as filming his appearance in CBS’ upcoming show ‘East New York.’
