Christian Cage is claiming to be the AEW TNT Champion, even though Luchasaurus currently holds the title and goes as far as carrying the belt around with him. According to a new report, his hard work is paying off.
According to Dave Meltzer on Wrestling Observer Radio, people in AEW are very high on Cage’s current work.
There is speculation that Cage may pin Luchasaurus in the upcoming three-way match for the TNT Championship, which also features Darby Allin, this Saturday on AEW Collision.
Before that, Cage will team up with Luchasaurus to face Sting and Darby Allin at the AEW Rampage: Grand Slam special this Friday.
