AEW’s Matt Menard has fired back at Mike Tyson after the boxing legend made it clear he prefers to appear for WWE.
While best known for his iconic boxing career, Tyson has appeared for both WWE and AEW, but made it clear which he prefers in a recent episode of his Hot Boxin’ podcast. Tyson said,
“Tony Khan and those guys? Yeah, these guys want to put me on the show and stuff before. But I don’t care if they got more money. If Vince [McMahon] put me on the show, I’d rather go there [WWE] even though they [AEW] pay more money.”
Responding to the interview, Menard branded Tyson a mark for choosing WWE despite being paid more by Tony Khan.

Tyson’s most recent appearance for AEW came in November 2022 when he provided guest commentary for an episode of Rampage.
