During Wednesday night’s episode of AEW Dynamite, Tommy End (Aleister Black in WWE) made his official AEW debut. As we reported earlier today, End is now using “Malakai Black” as his official ring name. Black came out and attacked Arn Anderson while he was cutting a promo in the ring. The lights went out and when they came back on, Black was in the ring and hit Anderson with the Black Mass.
Cody Rhodes then wound up coming out to make the save for Arn, but Black wound up hitting him with the Black Mass as well.
As many of you know, Black was released from WWE back in June. Some of the released talent had been asking out of their non-compete clauses with WWE and that appears to be the case here as he wouldn’t have been able to debut tonight if he had the standard 90-day non-complete clause.
