As we reported late last night here on eWn, Jeff Cobb is not under contract with AEW despite appearing on last night’s Dynamite broadcast. Cobb will be facing Jon Moxley on next week’s Dynamite.
As of this writing, Cobb is only booked for next week’s Dynamite broadcast in Atlanta, Georgia. Obviously, AEW wants him to sign an exclusive contract but his appearance last night and next week are kind of “wait and see” to see if Cobb feels comfortable enough to sign. Cobb is still a free agent and is not under contract with AEW, ROH or NJPW as of today. He is currently able to work wherever he wants.
