We have another WWE-related wedding in the works.
WWE Hall of Famer Nikki Bella attended Saturday night’s Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards and spoke with Us Weekly about her wedding plans with Artem Chigvintsev and whether the show may wind up airing on the E! Network.
According to Nikki, she and Chigvintsev are planning to get married in the fall of this year. As you’d expect, Nikki’s twin sister Brie will be the Maid of Honor at the wedding.
“We’ve set a wedding date. I’ll give a hint that it’s fall 2022, very soon. Brie’s gonna have to start getting busy because she’s Maid of Honor and I’m going to have to put her to work!”
Brie also chimed in, saying,
“I’m going to have to give a heartfelt speech, not be drunk and have my sh*t together.”
And finally, Nikki Bella noted that the wedding may air on the E! Network. She said,
“It might be on E!. So, the world may see it. There’s so, so much pressure [with the first dance]. I literally was telling Artem the other day, I go, ‘You need to start to choreograph it now because I want all summer to learn it so when we go in and do it, I know it like that, on the back of my hand. Easy.’ But I need to start now.”
Nikki Bella and Artem Chigvintsev became engaged back in November of 2019 after first meeting each other on the Dancing with the Stars reality competition. The engaged couple have a son together named Matteo, who was born in July 2020.
