— According to a report from Cageside Seats, WWE gave Hideo Itami Neville’s “Rings of Saturn” finisher. According to sources, this is a sign that talks between Neville and WWE have “completely broken down.”
As seen in recent months, Hideo Itami had been using CM Punk’s “Go to Sleep” finisher, but after Brian Kendrick was injured by the move on RAW, Itami used Neville’s submission finish on WWE “205 Live” on Wednesday night.
As of this writing, neither Neville or WWE have officially commented on his departure from the promotion.
— As seen during Wednesday night’s WWE NXT broadcast, Johnny Gargano defeated Lars Sullivan, Killian Dain, and Aleister Black to become the #1 contender for the NXT title. The match had some controversy as Adam Cole, Bobby Fish, & Kyle O’Reilly got involved, attacking Aleister Black and eventually costing him the match. Black posted the following on Twitter:
