We reported last week here on eWn that Suzuki-gun, the faction led by Minoru Suzuki in New Japan Pro Wrestling, has disbanded. According to a report from the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, there are some rumors that this was done because Suzuki is set to work for All Japan Pro Wrestling. As of this writing, there is no word on Suzuki’s status with New Japan Pro Wrestling.
It was also reported last week here on eWn that part of Sasha Banks’ deal with NJPW will see her working one of the bigger STARDOM events at some point next year. The Wrestling Observer Newsletter is reporting that Banks will be appearing at STARDOM’s All Star Grand Queendom event, which takes place on April 23 at the Yokohama Arena.
Pro Wrestling NOAH will be holding its “The New Year” event tomorrow. This show will feature The Great Muta vs. Shinsuke Nakamura. On Friday, the promotion held a press conference to hype the bout. You can check that out below:
