AEW Dynamite
As of this writing, AEW is planning to continue taping Dynamite for the time being. Of course, this is a fluid situation and they may be forced to cancel their TV tapings if the city of Jacksonville, FL issues a “Stay at Home” order. The location of their events is said to be on a week-to-week basis.
In recent weeks, AEW has been working with the city of Jacksonville, FL to continue being able to use Daily’s Place for a closed-set taping. The only people around are the wrestlers themselves and several staff members in the production truck. Also, Tony Khan has been timing the show and working in the Gorilla position.
AEW is concerned that the largest coronavirus testing facility is the parking lot of HIAA Field. That is only about 100 yards away from Daily’s Place. Also, Jacksonville mayor Lenny Curry has been talking about cracking down on business and employees taking unneeded risks during the pandemic. For what it’s worth, AEW does have another location they could film at but it remains to be seen if they’ll have to take that route.
