As we’ve previously noted, WWE has reportedly found a new location to host SummerSlam this year. The location is said to be in the northeastern United States as opposed to the Performance Center in Orlando, Florida. Dave Meltzer of Wrestling Observer Radio reports that the new city is actually Atlantic City, New Jersey.
The location change is apparently a Vince McMahon call. Meltzer stated, “Vince wants to be out of Florida, wants a different look of the location. I don’t know about fans.” But Meltzer did add, “Vince really wants fans at Summerslam this year.” We’ll keep you updated as we learn more.
