In an update on Ricochet, there were some rumors that he would be heading to WWE in the near future. According to WON, it appears that Ricochet will be staying with New Japan Pro Wrestling for the foreseeable future. It should be noted that Lucha Underground also offered him a “very good offer” and he may choose to keep working there as well. He would still finish the rest of his dates with several indie promotions and his current NJPW dates.
Ricochet also recently tweeted the following, “Think I just got some great news. 2017 may just be my best year to date! Not WWE,”
. This is in regards to his New Japan and Lucha Underground opportunities.
