As you may be aware, there was an interesting note in terms of why MLW chose to go with the finish for MLW’s Opera Cup Finals, which saw “Filthy” Tom Lawlor defeat Low Ki in the finals.
The reason behind the finish was to make Low Ki look strong in spite of the loss to Lawlor, with his injuries playing a key factor into how he lost the match. There also appear to be plans within’ the company to give a push to Mad Krugger.
The idea for his gimmick was created by MLW President Court Bauer, with the inspiration for the character inspired by The Spoiler Don Jardine. TJP will be teaming up with Bu Ku Dao, while Rocky Romero will be working with MLW on a regular full-time basis.
