As many of you know by now, Dexter Lumis suffered an ankle injury that has forced him out of the North American title ladder match at NXT Takeover XXX. WWE has been claiming the injury is an “osteochondral lesion of the talus” due to several attacks by Timothy Thatcher.
In an update on this, the injury is not the result of the attacks by Thatcher and it actually occurred when he did a flip over the top rope during his match with Thatcher and Finn Balor. WWE heavily edited the spot for TV.
