The Wrestling Observer Newsletter reports that Jim Ross was absent from this week’s AEW Dynamite and Rampage TV tapings due to health reasons. Ross began a new procedure to treat a radiation wound on his leg. This results from his continued treatment for skin cancer.
Ross’ latest procedure took place on March 14 and he had another one on March 16. Good Ole’ JR would have to spend a lot of time on the road to get from where he was to Winnipeg. Paul Wight replaced Ross for the Rampage taping and the veteran commentator will be back next week. His ongoing treatment is only expected to last a few weeks.
