As we’ve been reporting here on eWn, AEW President Tony Khan has been very involved in the creative direction for Dynamite in recent months. As of this writing, he is now the main source of the company’s current creative direction.
Executive Vice Presidents (Cody Rhodes, The Young Bucks, Kenny Omega) all have a say in what they do with their own storylines and have the trust of Khan. With that being said, all of the storylines and significant pushes for wrestlers on television right now are said to be coming from Tony Khan. He’s been the one laying out the segments and what he wants to see on TV. He is said to be very open to suggestions from the talent involved and is very approachable backstage.
Khan is also the “driving force” behind the current Jon Moxley vs. Inner Circle and Adam “Hangman” Page storylines.
