According to a report from POST Wrestling, WWE will be announcing a new crossover rule on tonight’s RAW broadcast. The new rule is expected to allow for some level of crossover between the RAW and SmackDown brands. The rule is being described as a “simpler version” of the convoluted Wild Card rule last year.
The idea is to allow talent to appear on separate brands during the current pandemic. Obviously, the recent low ratings are a huge factor in this decision and the idea reportedly came at the networks’ request.
