During Saturday night’s WWE Day 1 pay-per-view event, we saw Brock Lesnar defeat WWE Champion Big E., Seth Rollins, Bobby Lashley and Kevin Owens in a Fatal 5-Way match to become the new WWE Champion!
Lesnar pinned Big E. following an F-5 to become the new champion. Lesnar was added to this match as a result of Roman Reigns testing positive for COVID-19, thus cancelling the planned match between he and Reigns for Day 1.
This is Lesnar’s sixth reign as WWE Champion. The title change ends Big E’s reign at 111 days, after he defeated Lashley for it on the September 13, 2021 episode of RAW.
