Brock Lesnar’s character since returning to WWE is the truest to his real life self, claims Shelton Benjamin.
Lesnar returned to the company at Summerslam 2021 and has been a fun-loving babyface, the exact opposite of the stoic, quiet, heel persona fans know him best for.
Speaking on the ‘Out of Character‘ podcast, Benjamin, a former tag-team partner of Lesnar spoke about this new side of the Beast, saying:
“I would say Lesnar’s current character is the most like he is in real-life, amongst people that he likes. I tell people all the time, one of the best things about Brock is you never have to wonder where you stand with him. Because he won’t waste any time in telling you, he will show you. He either wants nothing to do with you or you are a genuinely good friend. So, what you’re seeing to me, is Brock when he’s relaxed and in amongst friends.”
