Bryan Danielson Fines Rocky Romero, Jon Moxley Hypes WK 18, Toni Storm, Shane Taylor, Collision

As we previously reported here on eWn, Bryan Danielson’s role on the AEW disciplinary committee includes issuing fines to talents for outrageous social media posts.

Danielson has leaned into the social media reaction to that, embracing the “Disciplinarian” memes fans have made regarding the matter.

In a post on Twitter, Danielson jokingly fined NJPW’s Rocky Romero for wearing an eye patch. He wrote, “Rocky is getting fined for wearing an eyepatch without breaking his orbital bone!”

Romero replied, Can someone explain this “AEW fine” that I received in an eco friendly envelope this morning?

In a post on Instagram, ROH star Shane Taylor revealed that he worked as a stuntman in A24’s Von Erich biopic, The Iron Claw. Taylor is credited under his real name Mark Shepherd.

Taylor wrote, “Is that @ringofhonor / @aew superstar Shane Taylor (Shepherd) in the credits of the new #hollywood blockbuster #ironclaw in theaters worldwide right now? I do believe it is!! I had an unbelievably awesome time with the entire @a24 , & @wildkatsports crews. Learning tons from legends like @chavoguerrerojr as I wade into the waters of this acting/stuntwork game.Being able to sit down and talk to incredible performers like @zacefron about his journey and our crazy world of professional wrestling was invaluable.

Thank you to man who made it happen as well in @lukehawx504 I appreciate you G! One day #STP is walking out to the new theme by Grammy nominated producer @mikesn3l & theme song king @teasyjones at #FinalBattle the next…we in the Hollywood movies, God is good! You’ve got those who get the hype and then those who get it done!!”

AEW Women’s World Champion Timeless Toni Storm revealed her favorite holiday traditions in a digital exclusive interview. She said,

“I used to host the annual Key Party, which we had to stop because of a couple of incidents.” Regarding her favorite holiday meal, Storm added, “I’ll tell you, I love a bit of spotted dick, which is actually the reason we had to cancel the annual key parties.”

Storm will defend her title against Riho at AEW Worlds End this Saturday.

NJPW released a new video in its Wrestle Kingdom 18 interview series, featuring former AEW World Champion Jon Moxley promoting his upcoming Triple Threat matchup against Will Ospreay and Dave Finlay for the new IWGP Global Heavyweight Championship.

Moxley recalled how Finlay was the one who destroyed both the IWGP US and UK Championship belts with a hammer. He said,

“I put a lot of heart and soul and hard work into that New Japan United States Championship, and I didn’t take too kindly to young Mr. Finlay smashing it with a big stupid Mario Kart hammer. No, I did not.” He continued, “The gall that it took for David Finlay to do that, I kind of admire it, but at the same time, it pisses me off.”

Wrestle Kingdom 18 takes place on January 4, 2024, at the Tokyo Dome in Tokyo, Japan.
