On Tuesday night’s episode of WWE NXT, we saw Christian Casanova make his debut for the brand under the name “Carmelo Hayes”. Hayes faced Kushida in an open challenge for the NXT Cruiserweight Championship in a losing effort as he would tap out to the Hoverboard Lock. You can check out some highlights from the match below:
Also, the WWE Performance Center website now lists Blake Christian as Trey Baxter. The trademark for the name was filed on May 26th.
